Scotland’s most divisive region, the peated malts that Islay is globally renowned for are an unapologetic statement of authenticity and tradition that bear an iconic smoky profile. In 2024, this coveted region changed forever when Ardnahoe, Islay’s latest operational distillery, released their inaugural 5 year old malt. This highly anticipated whisky had a lot to live up to, and, to great relief, was met with unanimous high praise by critics.
